Yesterday, on Boulevard Périphérique, cops were everywhere (even snipers it seems). Every 300 meters (even under sticky tunnels!).

I really love this geeky/friendly messages... The flickr code seems crippled with a lot of those (sometimes randomly displayed). You know that programers had fun developing it.

Metro crowded by tourists around midnight

There are a lot of tourists in Paris these days... But it's harsh to leave the office that *late* and not even find a quiet wagon. Tourists here were brasilians but at the next station, a bunch of additionnal japanese came in :)

Jobs / Perl. Interesting stats

jobs.perl.org has an interesting statistics page where you can see that the number of job offers is constantly growing (from 30 to 150 per months). It's good news. Is it because this service (jobs.perl.org) is getting more popular or because there are more Perl jobs available ?

I'm looking for a replacement or a fix (vim) because I'm so tired of typing :

• alt + 5 and alt + ° for outputting { and }
• shift + alt + 5 and shift + alt + ° for outputting [ and ]

When you develop in Perl you constantly use this characters...

Indeed, I'm now able to sync my 6630 with my Powerbook !

Apple has released today a new version of iSync (2.1)

I've tried some hacks, which were unsuccessful due to an incompatibility of the iSync Agent and the latest Symbian OS. It's now all resolved.

It should make a lot of people happy
